Every baby deserves a healthy start, but across the U.S., maternal and infant health disparities continue to persist. Black and Indigenous women are 2-3 times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications, and preterm birth remains one of the leading causes of infant mortality (CDC Maternal & Infant Health).
What is Healthy Start?
Healthy Start is a community-driven initiative aimed at improving maternal and infant health outcomes by:
✔ Providing prenatal education and care access
✔ Supporting fatherhood and family engagement
✔ Addressing health disparities in underserved communities
